Dear Goshen Family,

I am excited and honored to join the Goshen Elementary Family as the Interim Assistant Principal. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to work as a team with Mrs. Mims and the rest of the wonderful faculty at Goshen Elementary. In my role as Assistant Principal, I will work hard to advocate for students and work with the faculty and staff to foster a community of learning that helps all students feel welcomed and successful.
I have recently served as Local Reading Specialist, and previously third grade teacher at Banks School in the Pike County School system. I have seventeen years of experience at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in a variety of roles. I am thrilled to bring my knowledge and love for learning and teaching to Goshen and work with the students, faculty, and family as a partner in education. I believe that education is a life-long process that starts with strong foundations in the elementary years, and I look forward to building those foundations with all of those at Goshen Elementary School in the coming months!

Sincerely,

Catherine Grissett
